  1. Where Do The Casting Calls Come From?
    A. Since we have industry connects we receive our leads from a variety of sources, Unlike other casting sites and publications we do not allow just anyone to post a casting call. Casting professionals must register for an account and allow us to do some background work before they are allowed to post notices, if things don't check out the account is declined. We review every casting call posting before it is set live to ensure accuracy.

  2. Do I need to post a profile w/pictures and data in order to see the leads in the system ?

    3. A. No , posting a profile is completely optional

  3. Can you tell me when _____ is casting?

    4. A. We find out when a certain show is casting the same time you do. In most cases we find out as soon as it is posted on Casting-Spot.com.

  4. I just signed up and created my profile why isn't all of my information listed online? Where are my pictures that I uploaded?

    5. A. For quality assurance a Casting-Spot staff member reviews each profile that is submitted and sometimes this process can take some time, generally we will have your profile reviewed in less than 24 hours but it can take up to 72 hours.

  5. My Photo won’t upload its too big, what do I do?

    6. A. Try resizing the photo with any photo editing program or look online for free resources such as http://www.photosize.com/

  6. How do I update my contact information in my profile?

    7. A. Log into www.Casting-Spot.com and go to the My Characteristics Icon

  7. I have forgotten my Password. How can I retrieve this information?

    8. A. Go the main page and click on ?Lost your password? which is underneath the login box otherwise go to the following link

  8. How do I change my password on my account?

    9. A. Log in using your regular password and in your member control panel click on the lock icon on that says Change Password

  9. Why am I not receiving updated casting calls to my email address?

    10. A. First check to make sure you have input your correct email address.


    A. Also some computers have spam filters so make sure your email program allows you to receive emails from support@Casting-Spot.com.

  10. Can I email photos to Casting-Spot to upload for me?

    11. A. Not at this time, the feature might be available at a later date. If you are having a problem uploading a photo let us know and we will help you with the process.

  11. What format do the photos have to be in? Are there limits to size?

    12. A. Make sure the pictures are in JPEG format, 600K or under, and try not to exceed 600x600 pixels.

  12. How many photos can I upload on my profile?

    13. A. Most applicants are uploading around 6 photos.

  17. How do I get more Casting Professionals to view my profile?


    18. A. Casting Professionals have recommended to us to encourage our members to completely fill out their profile. By completing your profile and uploading pictures casting professionals will be able to better cast you for appropriate shows. Also make sure your email address is correct and current.
